Our Mission

Every Kenyan child deserves a great music teacher.

Sight Score was built to solve a real problem: parents can't always find qualified, trustworthy music tutors, and talented music teachers can't always find the right families to work with.

We created a safe, structured marketplace where parents post exactly what their child needs, from Piano to Guitar, Violin to Vocals, and qualified music teachers apply. Our admin team personally vets every teacher before they can take a single job.

How It Works

Simple. Transparent. Trusted.

01
Parents
Parent Posts a Music Job
Parents choose the instrument or music subject their child needs, select the child's level, whether it's home-school or online, their location and preferred schedule. The job goes live for music teachers to see.
02
Teachers
Music Teacher Applies
Qualified music teachers browse jobs, register with subscription to unlock applications, and submit their proposal with their instruments, experience and credentials. New teachers go through admin vetting first.
03
Admin
Admin Vets & Approves
Our admin team reviews teacher credentials, including music degrees, certificates, teaching experience, and ID, then conducts a personal interview. Only verified music tutors appear to parents. All payments flow through our secure M-Pesa till number.
04
Payment
Pay Monthly Upfront
Parents pay the monthly session bundle to Sight Score's M-Pesa till number before lessons begin. The platform pays the teacher after each completed session within 24 hours.

Platform Features

Everything you need,
nothing you don't

Rigorous Music Teacher Vetting
Every music teacher on Sight Score goes through a 2-step verification: document review (music degree or diploma, teaching certificate, national ID) followed by a personal admin interview. Parents only ever see fully approved, qualified music tutors.
Secure M-Pesa Payments
All payments go through Sight Score's registered M-Pesa till number. After a session is confirmed complete, teachers are paid out automatically and transparently.
Session Tracking
Both parents and music teachers can log session notes, mark attendance, and track progress per instrument or subject. Payment release is tied directly to session completion, giving both parties full accountability and transparency.
18+ Instruments & Music Subjects
Piano, Guitar, Violin, Cello, Drums, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet, Keyboard, Ukulele, Vocals, Music Theory, Composition, Traditional African Instruments, DJ & Music Production. If it's music, you'll find a tutor for it here.
Home-School & Online Lessons
Parents can post jobs for in-person home-school music lessons or online tutoring via Zoom or Google Meet. Teachers can set their preferred teaching mode and location radius across Nairobi and all major Kenyan towns.
Mobile-First Design
Sight Score is designed for every Kenyan device. Post jobs, apply, track sessions, and release payments all from your phone. Our standard rates of KES 1,500 to 2,000 online and KES 2,000 to 2,500 in-person are transparent from the start.
